Dr. Kim customizes her approach by understanding the specific demands and challenges of each sport. She collaborates closely with athletes to address sport-specific mental performance needs, ensuring that the strategies used are relevant and effective. Dr. Kim utilizes evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, visualization, goal-setting, and stress management strategies. Her approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

Yes, clients receive access to a variety of resources, including worksheets, reading materials, and online tools to support their progress. Dr. Kim also provides personalized exercises and strategies tailored to each client's needs.

While many individual clients have elected to share positive feedback about their experiences and the significant improvements they have achieved in mental performance and overall well-being through their work with her, Dr. Kim does not offer them as references to prospective clients to respect her client's privacy and to follow ethical guidelines of her licensing bodies. Dr. Kim does share the teams and organizations she works with when these teams grant their permission for her to do so, as it does not identify any single individual. For example, dr. Kim is the Mental Performance coach for the WNBA team, LA Sparks and acts as the mental health and mental performance therapist for athletes and teams at D1 college, Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles.

Once Dr. Kim has developed a relationship with an athlete or a team through an initial program of work, she offers follow-up support through periodic check-ins, booster sessions, and ongoing access to resources. Clients can schedule additional sessions as needed to maintain and further their progress at anytime.

Dr. Kim is a licensed psychotherapist and certified mental performance coach with a doctoral degree in Clinical & Sport Psychology. She also holds two MAs in Clinical Psychology and Psychological Science and Research. With over a decade of experience, she has successfully helped hundreds of athletes enhance their mental and physical performance.

Individual sessions with Dr. Kim are $300 per 45-minute session. Team partnership packages are customized based on the team's needs and duration of support. Flexible payment plans and discounts for long-term engagements are available. For specific pricing, please contact Dr. Kim directly.

Dr. Kim predominantly offers online sessions for individual athletes. In-person sessions can be scheduled on occasion to take place at the athlete's training or competition location. Teams - depending on location - can request online or on location sessions. Online sessions are held via a secure video conferencing platform to ensure convenience, accessibility and confidentiality.
